Printed Pants
I'm back! Not that I was ever really gone, but I haven't had a lot of time to blog lately. In addition to my full time job and side gig I've been doing some kitchen improvement to our townhouse, which kind of snowballed into a lot more work than I had originally anticipated. Luckily you can't see the paint on my hands in these pictures.
Printed pants have eluded me for months now. I ordered some from the Limited last year and even though they didn't fit, I kept them thinking I would get them taken in because I loved them so much. When I found these at Old Navy they were less than the cost of altering the other pair (which I'm hoping I can now bring myself to give up). Today was the first day I wore them and I have to say, these are pretty great. They are a thick material so in addition to not wrinkling much, they aren't see through despite being cream colored. In case you are ordering online, I would recommend getting a couple of sizes and returning the ones that don't work. I ordered a 2 petite and a 4 petite; the 2 was so big I could try them on without unbuttoning them, the 4 just fit. Definitely read the online reviews or try them on in store. I have my eye on a couple of the other prints should they go on sale (or more accurately, further on sale, as most of the prints are already discounted).

Loving your patterned pants and cobalt flats!

Those pants are perfection! And I love how you've styled them. I saw a very similar pair at H&M but the fit was off, might have to check these out (although I'm not buying new pants at the moment... but still )
ReplyDeleteTarget also has some great patterned pants right now, and most of them come in a couple of different fits. If they go on sale they'd totally be worth tucking away for after your little one arrives!
Deletenice look and beautiful necklace, I will follow you!
